Depending on the model of SUV you are on the market for: from compact SUVs, midsize SUVs, large SUVs, or crossovers, there are several models which have been highly rated on the list of 2011 suv models, and has given consumers, from each of these model classes, several models to choose from.

 

When you are on the market for SUVs, there are many different features a consumer is looking for, including: size, powerful engine, optional third row seating, luxury vs non-luxury, fuel efficiency (hybrid vs regular fuel engine), brand and manufacturer, and optional interior features which might be specific to each consumer. For a luxury compact SUV, the leader is the Audi Q5. If the name isn’t enough, the interior base features will sell any consumer. Coming in at a base of $31,856 the Audi comes base with (GPS, 6CD changer, radio dials on the steering wheel, leather interior, and other optional ad-ons), this is the ultimate in luxury and class. It gets 21 MPG highway, and 19 MPG city. For the luxurious clear cut winner, the Audi Q5 is the consumer’s choice.

 

For midsize SUVs the 2011 Buick Enclave is the affordable class leader. Coming in at $24,221 this vehicle is safe, offers nice base interior features, great fuel efficiency (21 highway, 18 city MPG), and a great name to back it up. For consumers looking for the luxury model choice for 2011, the 2011 Acura MDX is a winner by a longshot. Coming in at $29,800 this vehicle is the epitome of luxury for a midsize SUV. Great interior and exterior features, safety standards, and fuel efficient (22 highway, 19 city MPG), this is the forerunner in the category.

 

Lastly, for large SUV in 2011, for the affordable class the 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe is the consumer choice. Coming in at a base of $28,899 the tahoe offers great add ons, and base features. It has optional (folding) third row seating, leather or cloth interior, 6CD changer, optional navigation, and additional options to add-on. With a pretty efficient V8 engine (20 highway, 17 city MPG), the Tahoe has been highly rated by consumers in 2011. And, for the luxury model, the choice is the 2011 Cadillac Escalade.

 

Although extremely pricey, base $36,400 the Cadillac Escalade is a great buy for consumers in the large SUV market. It has three row seating (seats up to 8), built in navigation, optional bluetooth, 6CD changer, leather interior base, and a powerful engine. This high class name, does come at a high price, but is well worth the additional cost if this is the market you are on for SUVs.

 

No matter which consumer level you are, there are plenty of models to consider for a 2011 SUV.
